PPL Shipyard Pte Ltd

Situated strategically on a 15 Ha site on the western coast of Singapore at 21 Pandan Road, PPL Shipyard specialises in the design and construction of offshore drilling rigs from shallow water to deep water. The yard is equipped with a sea frontage of 700 meters, 240 meters of wharf with a water depth of seven meters as well as other facilities. PPL Shipyard has proven track record in the building and servicing of jack-up rigs and semi-submersible rigs. PPL Shipyard has also developed a new yard located at 27 Tuas Crescent. This yard has an open area of 5.4 Ha, a shoreline frontage of 700m, a seafront with ACD level of 5.5m and a wharf of 100m long.

Description
·	Degree / Diploma with 3-5 years of relevent experience
·	Must possess supervisory skills to manage staff in the administrative function
·	Able to work independently and have good interpersonal relations and communication skills

7) Commissioning Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Drilling)

Description
·	Degree in relevant engineering discipline with good command of English and able to write concise technical reports
·	Preferably with working experience in rig building and oil & gas projects in the field of engineering, construction, commissioning or operations
·	Hands-on experience in commissioning and operations of vessel's instrumentation, electrical or mechanical systems, jacking systems and rig drilling systems

8) Purchasing Executive

Description
·	Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
·	Preferably with 2 years of purchasing experience in Marine / Offshore related industry

9) Purchasing Coordinator

Description
·	Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
·	Preference given to those with minimum of 1 to 2 years relevant experience in purchasing or relevant technical background

Description
·	NITEC Certificate in relevant engineering discipline

2) Materials Controller (Steel)

Description
·	Technical Trade Certificate or its equivalent
·	Familiar with different types of steel and mill certifications

3) Administrative Assistant (Permanent / Contract)

Description
·	NITEC Certificate
·	Preferably with 2 years of experience in office documentation
·	Provide admin & technical support; proficient in MS Office

4) Storekeeper cum Trailer Driver

Description
·	GCE 'O' Level with 2 years of experience in logistics or daily warehouse operations
·	Familiar with store processes and inventory control
·	Class 5 and forklift driving licence

5)	Estimator (Outfitting & Structural)

Description
·	Diploma in Marine Engineering
·	Ability to prepare cost estimates, review enquiry specifications
·	Preferably with 3 years of estimating experience in Marine / Offshore related industry

6)	NDT Coordinator

Description
·	Diploma in relevant engineering discipline
·	Minimum 3 years experience in Marine / Offshore related industry

7)	QC Inspector (Welding / Piping / Structural)

Description
·	Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering discipline or its equivalent
·	Minimum 3 years QA/QC experience in Marine / Offshore related industry
·	Must possess CSWIP 3.1 or AWS Welding Inspector Certificate

8)	Store Supervisor

Description
·	Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
·	Must possess class 3 driving license
·	Preferably with 3 years of storekeeping experience in similar warehouse operation
·	Familiar with Steel store operations

9)	Security Guard

Description
·	Secondary education
·	Minimum 1 year relevant experience
·	Willing to perform 12 hour rotating shift
