Responsibilities
Ensure optimal deployment of resources to the fullest using GPS Automatic Vehicle Management System (AVMS)
Lead and manage a team of Assistant Service Controllers using online resources and support systems to monitor the bus service performance in a real-time environment and take necessary action to minimize service delays, resolve emergencies or restore service disruption and to ensure service reliability on the road
Make critical decisions and ensure appropriate communication with all parties involved
Analyse trends and put up recommendation for improvement of overall service performance and resource applicationsRequirements
Degree in any discipline
Minimum 2 years of working experience in operations
Mature, calm and controlled in responding to stressful or unpredictable situations
Strong situational awareness ability and leadership qualities
Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Bilingual in English and one other local language with ability to understand local dialects
Able to perform rotating shift work
No hearing impairment or colour vision deficiency
You will undergo a series of aptitude tests and interviews if you are shortlisted. Extensive training will be provided for successful candidates to acquire operations policies, procedures and service controls in addition to the use of the system. Good candidates may also be considered for other bus operations positions.
