Responsibilities:
- You will be based in Taiwan to produce and present reports on political, social and economic issues for Channel NewsAsia
Requirements:
- Dynamic individual with at least 5 years' of working experience and have a good voice and clear diction
- Good University Degree, preferably in Political Science/International Affairs/Economics, and an intimate knowledge and understanding of history, culture, social and political issues affecting Taiwan and the greater China
- Experience in business reporting and broadcast journalism will be an added advantage
- Communicate well and possess a good command of the English language, both written and oral, and be prepared to report in Mandarin
- A good grasp of business and financial issues are crucial
- Must be prepared to work long and irregular hours and travel within Taiwan and abroad on assignments
